Rose by SirPointy Rose by SirPointy
At last I got around to uploading this. This here's a colour version of the girl I drew in the last submission, I just liked her so much that I wanted to do a decent colour job with her. Not much more really to say about it, apart from it felt good to do some painting again, esspecially using watercolours and pencils together. Oh, and I officially name the girl Rose, I felt it suited her, hehe.

Really etheral colours there. Adding pencil tones on top of the watercolours stops everything from fading quite nicely.

I really think that this is the best color for this piccie after all. Green was too "christmas' and more pink was just overburn. : )

If I can add constructive criticism, I think it would be nice if you did her jaw more curvy, it sort of looks flat near her chin. I assume you ment to do the tip of the jawbone a little further there but in women it's very close to the earlobe.. or mine is ; )

I really like this. The soft colors work really well in conjunction with the thick, bumpy lineart :) Very stylish!
